Q. What is the difference between Lakanto Golden and Lakanto White?

The ingredients in both Lakanto White and Lakanto Golden are the same. The difference is that Lakanto golden is made from the mature fruit, and Lakanto White is made with an extra-high purity extract from early-harvest! Monk Fruit to achieve a clean, sugar-like taste and color. Lakanto White has the same sweetness, zero calories and zero glycemic index as Lakanto Golden, but without the taste, aroma or color. There are no additional ingredients, colors or preservatives in Lakanto White.

For some food applications Lakanto Golden is not desirable like for yogurt, cream or clear drinks because if using Lakanto Golden it would change the color of the food. So now we have Lakanto White. :)
